  • To focus upon the philosophy, concepts, and programs of Orff-Schulwerk and to be concerned with other, related, contemporary music education approaches

  • To demonstrate techniques and activities by informing music educators (classroom teachers, choir directors, youth workers, voice and instrumental teachers, chorus and band directors, music therapists, and students) of workshops, clinics, demonstrations, etc., through meetings, mailings, emails and web postings

  • To actively support existing public and private music programs, and to give encouragement to new offerings

Greetings from the Piedmont North Carolina Chapter of AOSA! We’re pleased you have visited our website, and hope you find it informative!

When we turn the pages on our calendars to August (assuming we still use paper calendars) most of us have already begun thinking of the new school year.  A perfect time to think of your learning. Join us as we learn.

Dr. Amalie Hinson, President PNCC
